Dr. Shazia Siddique is a health services researcher and gastroenterologist at the University of Pennsylvania. She is an NIH-funded investigator with expertise in evidence synthesis, guideline development, implementation science, health policy, and health equity research. At Penn, Dr. Siddique serves as Associate Director for Research for the Center for Evidence-based Practice (CEP), where she conducts AHRQ-funded systematic reviews for policy decision-making, and also as the Director of Research for the Center for Healthcare Improvement and Patient Safety (CHIPS). She is also Senior Fellow for the Leonard Davis Institute (LDI) of Health Economics, and Senior Scholar for the Center for Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics (CCEB). Nationally, she serves on the American Guideline Association’s (AGA) Clinical Guidelines Committee, and is Chair-Elect for the AGA’s Government Affairs Committee.
