Medication for Addiction Treatment and Electronic Referrals (MATTERS) is a statewide organization that works to rapidly link individuals with opioid use disorder to outpatient treatment, with a focus on access to medications for opioid use disorder (MOUD). The Buffalo-based program has seen great success since its inception in 2016, expanding geographically as well as broadening its services offered to the community. This workshop will review the MATTERS referral platform, harm reduction services, telemedicine evaluations, and transportation and medication voucher programs – and how these services support patient success and follow-up rates.
