Cara L. Fresquez, MAC-P is a fifth-year Counseling Psychology doctoral student at the University at Albany who is passionate about addressing disparities in substance use treatment through research, clinical practice, and mentorship. Ms. Fresquez previously worked as a prevention navigator for Project ACCESS (Achieving College Completion through Engaged Support Services), a program funded by two federal grants focused on the prevention and treatment of substance use, HIV and STI, and suicide.
