Evan E. Ozmat is a third-year doctoral student in the University at Albany Counseling Psychology program who is passionate about engaging college students to optimize their health and well-being using strengths-based approaches. He has worked as a recovery support navigator in the Center for Behavioral Health Promotion and Applied Research and is currently the Lead Prevention Navigator for Project ACCESS, a health service grant aimed at helping students navigate health and well-being resources on- and off-campus to mitigate their risk for HIV and HCV. Evan also has experience working as an addiction recovery coach supporting individuals at all stages of recovery.
