Danielle Leonard is Project Manager for the Center for Collaborative HIV Research in Practice and Policy (CCHRPP) where she works to leverage unique partnerships, like that between the University at Albany's School of Public Health and the New York State Department of Health AIDS Institute, to expand collaborations to address social justice and public health challenges of persons at risk for and living with HIV and related diseases. Danielle is passionate about developing innovative academic programs, experiential learning opportunities, and co-curricular activities that better prepare students for careers in public health and social services. Her approach includes a special focus on diversifying the future workforce to help reduce health disparities and achieve health equity.
