Chris Milan, PharmD, AAHIVP is the Associate Director of Pharmacy at Amida Care, a nonprofit Medicaid Special Needs Health Plan (SNP) that specializes in providing comprehensive health coverage and coordinated care to New Yorkers with chronic conditions, including HIV and behavioral health disorders. Dr. Milan received his PharmD degree at Touro College of Pharmacy in New York City and completed his post-graduate Managed Care Pharmacy Residency with Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey, providing drug utilization management, medical and pharmacy policy reviews, and drug information for Pharmacy & Therapeutics committee meetings and population health. Prior to joining Amida Care, Dr. Milan worked at New-York Presbyterian Hospital – Weill Cornell Medical Center in Manhattan.
