Yvonne Gooden is the Director of Peer Services, Trainings, and Interventions. Ms. Gooden is a graduate of the 5th Cycle of Alliance for Positive Change’s renowned Peer Recovery Education Program (PREP) in Cycle in 1995. After graduating, Ms. Gooden was hired as a Peer Worker, conducting outreach, community presentations, and more before being hired full-time as an Outreach Coordinator. Ms. Gooden’s has worked in nearly all program areas of Alliance’s multi-service, amassing tremendous knowledge of public health and social determinants of health, and leading over 300 training cycles of interventions including Health Relationships, Recovery Coach Academy, CLEAR, WILLOW, Healthy Relationships, and more. Ms. Gooden’s mission in life is to be able to give back through her experiences, especially those experiences that took place within the Alliance community.
