Aanya Wood is the Specialty Care Program Manager at Evergreen Health, where she oversees the gender-affirming care program of more than 2,000 patients, sex worker health pilot program, and field education for the agency. She also planned and implemented the agency’s gender-affirming care for youth program. Aanya has worked in harm reduction, HIV prevention, and gender-affirming care for eight years in outpatient clinics, federal prisons, and street-based peer outreach in Toronto, Ontario, and across Western New York state. When she’s not working, Aanya enjoys playing soccer, cooking and gardening.
