Sarah Macinski, MS, is an Evaluation Specialist in the Bureau of HIV/AIDS Epidemiology at the New York State Department of Health’s AIDS Institute. She has worked in epidemiology for 19 years, including the past nine years in the Bureau of HIV/AIDS Epidemiology. She is committed to using data to inform public health action and believes that “data doesn’t do any good sitting on a metaphorical shelf.”
