The poster displays the components of a COVID-19 prevention and mitigation project in homeless shelters in the State through partnerships among AIDS Institute, University of Rochester Center for Community Practice (UR-CCP) and CARES of NY. UR-CCP conducted observations and needs assessments at 20 homeless service sites, which informed the development of an interactive online toolkit to support each shelter’s unique needs. Interactive workbooks were designed for shelters to optimize their alignment with CDC guidance to prevent and mitigate COVID-19 based on each shelter’s specific building and operational characteristics.
