The Clinical Education Initiative (CEI) Sexual Health Center of Excellence provides STI and sexual health-related clinical education and access to STI experts via the CEI Line as part of an effort to end the STI epidemic. The CEI Line provides NYS clinicians and health departments access to infectious diseases expertise and advice on STI cases. This poster reviews CEI Line call data from 2014-2024 to show the marked increase in call volume over the ten-year period, highlighting a substantial increase in calls related to syphilis following several New York State Department of Health Alerts/Advisories related to STIs.
