This poster offers an overview of the prevalence of unmet dental care needs among adults living with diagnosed HIV in New York State from 2015 to 2021. It evaluates the overall prevalence of, and three barriers—financial, personal, and structural—that impede access to dental services. The data were analyzed through an intersectional lens inclusive of demographic factors and social determinants of health. Actionable recommendations aimed at improving dental care accessibility for individuals living with HIV are provided.
