Jessica Strong, as the Senior Director of Applied Research at Blue Star Families, leads a team of researchers and analysts who conduct and disseminate research on the challenges and opportunities of military family life, using both quantitative and qualitative methods. Prior to joining Blue Star Families she was a university professor on the tenure track before a military relocation shifted her career away from academia. Jessica is an active duty Army spouse with three children, currently stationed at Ft. Liberty, NC.
