Steph is Chief Impact Officer at Executives Partnering to Invest in Children (EPIC), focused on helping employers to attract and retain working parents, by supporting their exploration of and planning for child care solutions. She brings to the team a rich mix of organizational leadership, professional services expertise, and dedication to early learning and K-12 education. At EPIC, her clients have included the Port of Seattle, Denver International Airport (DEN), the Colorado Judicial Department, Detroit Regional Workforce Partnership, CU Anschutz, Steamboat Ski Resort, and Mile High United Way, among others. Steph’s first engagement with employer-based care was partnering with Guild to launch its on-site early care and education center, The Beehive, in downtown Denver during the pandemic.

Prior to this work, Steph led her own consulting business, 5280 Impact Partners, and was a Denver public charter school executive director, and spent 6 years as a leader at Bellwether, providing strategic advisory support to education organizations around the country. Before joining Bellwether in 2013, Steph was the Chief of Staff at Aspire Public Schools. There she also held the role of Director of Growth and Strategy, where she led the development of new schools and facilities. Over the course of her four years at Aspire, the organization grew from 21 to 35 schools. A former Broad Resident and Education Pioneer, Steph has also worked as a consultant for Bain & Company and the Bridgespan Group. Stephanie earned her M.Ed. and MBA at Stanford University and holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia. She lives in Denver with her husband and two daughters.
