Concurrent Workshop: Decentralized, Status neutral, Stakeholder-engaged, post-incarceration intervention for people living with and at risk for HIV: The DEST2nation Study
                                        Time
                                    9:00 AM - 10:30 AM
                                        Description
HIV disproportionately impacts people with criminal legal system (CLS) involvement, yet existing strategies to engage CLS-involved in HIV treatment and prevention post-release are insufficient. Through a participatory activity, we’ll collaboratively envision what an effective Community Advisory Board (CAB) can look like, emphasizing the critical role of lived experiences in shaping research and interventions. Participants will leave with practical tools for fostering community involvement and strategies to address barriers to HIV-related care for individuals impacted by incarceration.
