Richard Fowler, Co-Chair and Education Coordinator for NY Statewide Peer Network, has been employed by Trillium Health and its legacy agencies in Rochester for over 25 years, currently in the role of Consumer Relations Coordinator. Living with HIV since 1993 and working in the field for nearly as long, Mr. Fowler, a NYS Certified Peer Worker, is recognized for his many contributions to the HIV Community, but probably best known for his mentoring of consumers, professionals, and community leaders. Mr. Fowler has been identified as a subject matter expert on consumer involvement and advisory boards and acts as an informal consultant to many groups locally, regionally and on a national level. Mr. Fowler is also a member of the AIDS Institute Quality of Care Consumer Advisory Committee, a founding member and current co-chair of the NYS Peer Worker Certification Review Board, part of the Core Leadership of Monroe County Partnering to End the Epidemic (MCPEtE), and former Executive Chair of the Finger Lakes Ryan White Care Network.
