Jorge Soler, PhD, MPH, is a Research Staff Scientist at Project ACHIEVE within the New York Blood Center. He obtained his PhD from the University of Michigan School of Public Health and his MPH from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. His expertise is in examining the role of social support networks in the mental and sexual health of young adult Black and Latino queer men, and he works in the implementation of clinical research studies that test candidate vaccines for the prevention of HIV. He currently serves as Chair of the HIV Planning Group for the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.
