Andrea Serna is a health educator with the Latino Religious Leadership Program at the Latino Commission on AIDS, collaborating with community leaders to promote education, awareness, and prevention of HIV, as well as providing information on other sexually transmitted infections and mental health issues, primarily in churches and faith settings. Originally from Colombia, Andrea holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of San José in Colombia. After moving to New York eight years ago, she continued her education in Human Resources and Administrative Assistance. Andrea has also worked with the New York City Department of Education, supporting Hispanic children with special needs, such as Down syndrome, Autism, and sleep disorders. Her experience and dedication to community health and education have made her a valuable resource for communities seeking to improve their well-being.
