Lisa Skill is an education and training professional with over 20 years’ experience in the field of Public Health including HIV, Drug User Health, and Domestic Violence. Lisa is currently a Health Program Coordinator at the AIDS Institute, Office of Drug User Health, where she works on the buprenorphine access initiative and oversees the provider education initiative. Prior to her work at the AIDS Institute, Lisa coordinated the Empire State Public Health Training Center (PHTC) and served as the Co-Chair for the National PHTC Coordinator Network. She also worked as a senior trainer for an HIV and Drug User Health Training Center of Expertise funded through the AIDS Institute and worked as a training consultant for the Female Health Company and as harm reduction specialist for a Federally Qualified Health Center. Lisa has a Master of Science in Community Health Education and is a Master Certified Health Education Specialist (MCHES®) through the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing.
