Kimberly Perez is a 2024 Elizabeth Dole Caregiver Fellow who began her caregiving journey at 21, when her husband was permanently injured during his deployment to Afghanistan. After over ten years outside the workforce as a full-time caregiver and mom, she began her corporate career in her early thirties. Within just three years, she served as a Product Owner helping launch an IT solution that generated over $74 million in pipeline within its first six months. Today, Kimberly is a Strategic Communications Advisor at TDigital and an MBA candidate in IT Management at WGU.
